I haven't been posting these last few days because busy with the garden, and simply not reading much (or finding time on the computer).
Realized it's been a while since I did a giveaway, so I found these two handmade bookmarks (from my art, ink drawings painted with watercolor, laminated and edged with ribbon) which I like for their bright spring colors. If you'd like one, just leave a comment here before next wednesday (3/17). Two winning names will be drawn at random.

In reference to your comment about The House of Stairs: Oh bless you! I've always vaguely remembered reading that book but couldn't remember the name and thought I might have been making it up! It's plagued me for years and this is the first time I've run across it. It's like having scratched an itch in the middle of your back that you couldn't get to because of a jacket or something. It's been in my thoughts even more lately because of The Maze Runner, even though they are quite different all the same.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful. I'd love to be entered.

Jeane--I actually got on etsy today to see if you had any bookmarks listed. Are you not selling anymore?
ReplyDeleteTrish- no, I'm not selling anymore. I had very very few sales, and the cost of keeping the listings open, plus the time spent making them, just didn't feel worth the effort. Those were my last two (of my own art, I've got lots more from photo scrap!) but maybe someday I'll make more.
ReplyDeleteHi Jeane, I love your book blog and your gardening blog - they are both absolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI am sorry I discovered your site too late to enter the draw for the gorgeous bookmarks; they really are fabulous!
You are an inspiration, keep up the good work.
From a fellow book-lover and gardener,
Stephanie.
