taking stock

of my reading challenges. Because the end of the year is coming up quickly, and I'm not reading any faster lately. Of the three challenges I have left to complete, I've read half the books off my list for the TBR challenge, leaving me with six to go. I need to read nine more books for the New Authors, and two more for my Dogeared one. With only a month and a half I know I really can't hope to get through seventeen books, so I'm aspiring to just finish the TBR, and the Dogeared if I find a book or two that fits for both. How are your challenges going?

I've finished a few challenges already. I have a feeling that I won't finish the rest.

I have so fallen off the challenge wagon. I started out with such enthusiastic intentions, but some have fallen completely by the wayside, and others I completed and never wrapped up. :/ I am not the internet's best challenge-doer.

I am actually pleased with my progress so far. Will revisit challenges for the next year and may only do read-alongs. I really need to work on my own TRB piles so maybe I will challenge myself for 2011.

Bermudaonion- I think I won't finish all mine, either.

Caspette- I always think I'll like the TBR challenges the best, because they whittle down my pile, but they're hardest to get through for some reason!

Jenny- I hear ya. I signed up for way too many this year. I think next year I'll only do two.

Gavin- How many are you doing? I like to repeat some of the same challenges, too. I'm doing a few of these for the second or third year (only starting doing challenges at all a few years ago).
