True to my goal, I've looked these all up to see what's available at the library. The first block of the list I can get my hands on to read, the second shorter part I can't. So that's cheering. I was thrilled to find almost the entire collection of Yotsuba! at my library, after reading about it on Puss Reboots. But for some reason volume 2 isn't there, which is the very one that caught my eye first. Annoying already, even though I've been assured they're not really chronological so it doesn't matter.
I'm very glad to see that Delusions of Gender can be found at the library! Fingers crossed that you enjoy it as much as I did. And tat's too bad about the second Yotsuba! I read the first volume years ago and found it adorable - I really should carry on with the series. But yeah, considering how episode the books are it really shouldn't matter.
ReplyDeleteI hope you like Yotsuba&!... If you do, Azumanga Daioh, by the same author is also excellent. Happy reading.
ReplyDeleteSo many good books on that list!
ReplyDeleteI get some of my best book ideas and literary salivations from perusing the Blogworld. Because you get to know and respect the opinions of blog-friends, it's the equivalent of dust jacket endorsements, with the added bonus of familiarity.
ReplyDeleteHappy reading to you in 2012, Jeane.
That's clever to sort them by library access! I need to start making note of that in my wish list.
