And a full pantry. ;DLark https://www.blogger.com/profile/13777891312147377769noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4014696560401110515.post-41697397688295722062020-11-23T19:36:14.045-05:002020-11-23T19:36:14.045-05:00It was very complete. He said later that during those 27 years he only once met another person face-to-face- it was a man on a hiking trail, they said "hi" and passed each other, that was it. I'm an introvert too, but I also need family and friends or I do get lonely! There were speculations in the book that he was on the autism spectrum or had a personality disorder, but nobody Jeanehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02270303640902731044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4014696560401110515.post-90795575646225945022020-11-23T19:33:48.025-05:002020-11-23T19:33:48.025-05:00It was actually a tent, under a rigged tarp shelte...It was actually a tent, under a rigged tarp shelter. Sounds like it was pretty darn cold (and wet) in the winter, when he was just barely surviving- sleeping long hours under piles of sleeping bags, multiple layers of clothing, still unable to keep warm and walking at intervals to keep from freezing. He never once built a fire, to avoid being found. I consider myself an introvert by nature, but I wonder if someone like this fellow has a mental illness that needed to be treated way before he was caught in the act of stealing and finally arrested.

I'm going to add this one to my list.
