It was taken from its mother (poor mommy wolf was so distraught!) on the day of its birth and never knew another environment from that home.

Zibilee- I don't know how old your daughter is but you might want to look at the book first. There's quite a bit of explicit talk about animals having sex.
<Jeanehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02270303640902731044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4014696560401110515.post-70174750366025487722010-09-23T15:41:57.850-04:002010-09-23T15:41:57.850-04:00I'm surprised things went so well for them. I love dogs, but I would be reluctant to have a wolf in my home, even if I got it as a pup.bermudaonionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10726401178972099557noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4014696560401110515.post-17781706620158618732010-09-23T11:48:17.958-04:002010-09-23T11:48:17.958-04:00Wow, I'm very impressed that they managed this...Wow, I'm very impressed that they managed this. I think I would be a little freaked out if I went over to someone's house and they had a pet wolf! But I guess I'd get used to it pretty quickly - when my friend Jane got a boa constrictor, I was really alarmed at first, and then I got very fond of the snake. And baby wolves are much cuddlier than baby snakes! :)Jennyhttp://jennysbooks.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4014696560401110515.post-47004035230720664992010-09-23T10:39:07.513-04:002010-09-23T10:39:07.513-04:00This sounds like a strangely wonderful story! I think she would really enjoy it. If I could raise any wild animal in my home I think it would be a fox, not a wolf. = )Kate Scotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15878471739967889253noreply@blogger.com
