award

Janet at Across the Page gave my blog the Honest Scrap award. Thanks so much, Janet! So now I'm supposed to share ten honest facts about myself, and then pass it on.

Let's see....

1. I don't like ironing. I get frustrated with it.
2. When I was a kid, I didn't like tomatoes. Now I do!
3. My favorite color is blue.
4. I wear socks to bed all winter.
5. I've given up painting for the time being. Gardening is more exciting!
6. The first nightmare I ever remember having- when I was a kid- featuring a Care Bear recklessly driving a car I was in. I think he flipped it on a curve.
7. My hands are usually cold.
8. I find politics really really boring.
9. I'm not a very good house-cleaner. I get clutter out of the way, but things like dusting and washing windows tend to slide.
10. Up until last year, I'd never broken a bone. Busted my toe on a garden brick.

I know I'm supposed to pick ten bloggers to pass this on to, but I have a hard time choosing just a few out of the many, many I read. So if you're reading this and you'd like to participate, please join in! I'd like to hear some honest stuff about all of you.

It's funny now, but when I was a kid and had that dream over and over it was terrifying!

I'm always cold too, even during the summer when the air conditioner's on. Congratulations on your award!

My husband does the ironing at my house. I hate it. I'm with you on the house-cleaning too, except sometimes the clutter doesn't get cleaned up either.

Re: the odd Bible link. It's been doing it for a couple weeks at least. I don't know why.

Carolsnotebook- I think I've fixed it. I'll me come over, and you let me know.

I don't know what you did, but you fixed it.

That's funny that we remember our first nightmares!

I'm not the most attentive house cleaner either.

I like the way you handled picking your ten people. I know what you mean -- it's hard to choose!

So your hands are always cold, but is the rest of you always cold? Because I do not often get cold, but my hands are always freeeeezing.

Carolsnotebook- I had once done a typo, and it was auto-remembering my site URL. Someone found that and turned that mixed-up URL into a real site.

My husband doesn't mind ironing, but rarely has time. So the wrinkle-release cycle on our dryer is very handy!

Jenny- The rest of me will be fine, but my hands chilly. Usually I don't notice but if I touch someone else they'll say ouch! Your hands are cold!

Some people say ironing is relaxing. They obviously don't own books.

Ironing relaxing? Those people are nuts!
