winners!

Two luck winners today! each gets one of my African genet bookmarks. My daughter helped pick the names. And they are:

Esperanza and slipbananpeel !!!

Happy readers, send an email to jeanenevarez at gmail dot com with your snail mail info, and your bookmarks will be along shortly.

And just for the fun of sharing, here's a few photos of my kitten lounging atop one of my TBR piles. She's grown so big I can hardly call her "the kitten" anymore! I'm trying to think if I can work one of these into my header... (click on an image to see it larger)

Thanks for sharing the pics, Jeane! Your daughter is adorable, and I like the pics of your kitty sitting comfortably on your TBR pile. :)

  5. Congratulations to the winners. Your kitty is so adorable, Jeane. I don't think they ever grow out of the kitty phase--not to their human parents. :-)

  6. Thank you all, on the compliments to my cat! I'll let her know how many admirers she has, and you get a big purr! (She is the most purry cat I've ever known).

  8. The kitty pic on the left would make an awesome bookmark if cropped a little narrower. Love it!!!

  9. Susan- And that's only a third of my book piles!

Bookfool- What a great idea! I don't have a color printer, but now the wheels are turning in my head how to do this...

  10. Jeane,

I'll bet it would look terrific in b & w, too (or, knowing you, you could find a way to add colors by hand). It's just so perfect for a bookmark, isn't it? Books and cats go together. :)
